One Spook Too Many - Part 2

Yippee!! Part #2!!! Its below.....

I set up a shop too with a few t-shirts I made from some designs I did one day. As well, there is Mother 3 Lucas Coasters, and Keepsake boxes.

Anyway on to the story:

"Previously in One Spook Too Many, Ness made his way through the Twoson-Threed Tunnel. Along the way, "befriending" a ghost, and repeating over and over that he would not hurt it. The pitiful ghost joined Ness on his way to Threed"

"SHUT UP STUPID NARRATOR!" Ness shouted. "You really do hate that narrator, don't you?" the ghost said. "Well that's stating the obvious, isn't it?" he replied sarcastically. "Lets just get through this tunnel so we can get to Threed, and bring Paula back to life." Ness said as the two companions walked to the end of the tunnel. "Theres the exit" the ghost said as Ness ran for the gloomy land ahead. In an instant, a giant ghost popped out of the wall, and came towards Ness, just as they had reached the exit. It was oozing with an emerald green coloured slime, its face was malformed, and it made a horrible moaning sound as though it were having a great deal of trouble in a bathroom somewhere."You have got to be kidding me......" Ness said in a dull voice.

"You encounter the Great Slimy Ghost!" said the narrator. "I give up.....this can't get any worse can it? I mean, come on, a huge pile of snot? That's supposed to be a ghost?" Ness said, getting more and more silent with each word. "I'm sick of this, PSI FLASH!" Ness shouted, balancing a small beam on the tip of his finger, waiting for it to get stronger. "Oh...I have to do something now, don't I?" The ghost said grimly as he drifted towards the pile of slime. He covered his eyes with his hands, and then said "BOO!" while shaking his arms over his head. "The Great Slimy Ghost laughed so much it vanished!" the narrator said. "Well, at least you're good for something" Ness said.

Threed was right in front of them. Its gloominess made them uneasy as they took their first steps out that side of the tunnel. The grass which should have been plants, which should have been green, had turned a dismal greyish purple color, and a mist shrouded the town, giving Ness that "horror movie vibe" all over again. "We gotta get to the hospital, and bring Paula back to life." Ness said. "Now if I could only find the hospital...."

"We're lost!" the ghost sobbed loudly, as they walked through the town, "Can't we just ask that zombie over there for directions?" "Zombie.....What!!! What Zombie??" Ness shouted, disturbed by the thought that flesh eating creatures could be lurking around town. "That one over there, Hi Mr. Zombie!! Could you tell us how to ge-." Ness punched the ghost as he said this. "Would you shut up! Why would we want to ask a zombie for directions!?" Ness shouted. "Hey you hit me! You promised you wouldn't hurt me and now you went and hit me!" the ghost said with tears pouring out of his eyes. "Just shut up and leave the zombies alone, and I wont hit you! Now hurry, I see the hospital."

Running swiftly through the mist, Ness and the Ghost made their way to the Hospital, a large white building with a huge red cross on top. The clerk inside was a brawny woman. She stood behind the counter to the left, and was lifting weights while she was working. "Hey, names Glenda," she said "You got somebody killed?".
Ness replied in a submissive fashion "Yeah my friend....her name i-" "Paula" she said, "she got here a bit ago, and we brought her back to life." "Heyyy! How come you humans can be killed and brought back to life just by going to the hospital!" the ghost said "its not fair!" "Dont ask," Ness said, "Its just the way it works."

"Hey!" the clerk said "You want your friend back or not? If you do, then ya gotta gimme $150 right now." "Fine, fine," Ness said "here's your money, now where's my friend?" "Right behind ya duh!" she said. "Hi Ness!" It was Paula, the Brawny woman was right. Paula was back....

One Spook Too Many - Part 1

Well, it certainly has been a while since my last blog, but Im gonna get back on track with this one.
This is to signify the start of my series "One Spook Too Many". Well not really, I started it about a month ago on Starmen.net, but its still good!

Anyway, Part 1:

One Spook Too Many – Part 1

“PSI ROCKIN’ BETA!” Ness screamed, strumming his baseball bat as if it were a guitar. Brilliant beams of blue, yellow, and crimson red shot out from the end of his bat, hurdling towards the ghost chasing him. “Yes!” Ness shouted, as the ghost vanished, and a narrator stated the obvious to him, “The ghost suddenly vanished into thin air.” “Man I hate that narrator…..” Ness sighed as he continued on his way through the tunnel.

The Tunnel was dank and gloomy, the sticky air clung to Ness’s skin making his skin crawl, as the fluorescent lights above flickered on and off, creating a feeling as though he was in that horror movie he had watched with Paula just the other day, the one where the ghosts followed the teenagers through a dark place, just like this and where the lights flickered on and off, just like this. But I guess thats just like any horror movie isn’t it? Anyway…..

Ness continued on, tramping through the tunnel. He had heard from the people in Twoson that the tunnel connecting to Threed was haunted by ghosts, but never would he have actually suspected that it was true, but then again, why wouldn’t he when he had already seen things like the Titantic Ant and Mushrooms that could run? Ever so silently, a ghost slipped through the wall and into the tunnel. It began to follow Ness, hiding in the shadows whenever he dared to peer behind him. “Man, why did Paula have to go get herself killed again…..” Ness wondered. “This tunnel is really starting to creep me out.” He said as the ghost inched towards him out of the shadows, its breath, ice cold, and its translucent body wavering in and out of sight.

Ness turned around. “You encounter a Ghost!” the narrator exclaims. “STUPID NARRATOR! SHUT UP!” Ness yells. After hearing how loud Ness could yell, the ghost screams and becomes frightened. It began to whimper and whine “please…..dont hurt me…..ill… help you if you just please dont hurt me……” Tears began to stream out of the ghost’s hollow eyes. Feeling bad for the ghost, Ness tried to comfort it “Dont worry, I wont hurt you” he sighed. “Really!!” The ghost whined. “I guess……” Ness sighed again, he was quickly growing impatient with the pitiful excuse for a ghost. “Well can I come with you? Im afraid the other ghosts will hurt me…they always make fun of me, please? please? please?”. “If you would just shut up for five minutes then YES you can come with me. JUST. SHUT. UP!”. Ness said in a very impatient tone. “Ghost joins your party!” the narrator said. “God how many times do I have to say it? SHUT UP!” Ness said as he continued on his way through the tunnel.

“So you’re really not gonna hurt me?” the ghost asked. “For the hundredth time! YES” Ness yelled. This ghost was worse than having Paula along Ness thought, even Paula wasn’t this annoying, no matter how many times she died. At least if a person died, he could just go to the hospital and just pay to bring them back to life, but with a ghost, its impossible to kill it. “You’re already dead, how can I hurt you? The most you ghosts ever do is vanish when I hit you.” Ness said. “You encounter a ghost and its cohorts!” the Narrator said. “I give up….” Ness said, “Its just not worth it anymore to say.” “Oh no” the ghost said, “I dont wanna die!”. “Once again, YOU’RE ALREADY DEAD!”. Ness said as he laid a beating on one of the ghosts. It vanished. “Do something then!” Ness said to the ghost, “I cant attack again until you do!” “But I hate fighting, I really dont want to…” the ghost whined. “Oh for crying out loud, just say boo or do something!” Ness said, his impatience becoming more and more obvious. “Ok then…….BOO!” the ghost shouted. “The other ghost laughed, thinking that it was a pitiful attempt.” the narrator said. “Oh for the love of Fobbies” Ness sighed, as he attacked again. “The ghost and cohorts vanished into thin air!” the Narrator exclaimed"

“Im in a stupid tunnel, with a stupid ghost, and a stupid narrator that WONT SHUT UP!, can this day possibly get any worse?” Ness screamed as he stood still, the end of the tunnel visible in the distance.

Got my Fangamer Order!

Good week....I got my order from fangamer.net and I'm lovin it!

One of the best parts of it though, was the personal note which I received from Reidman himself!

I guess I cant really so much call it a note, but oh well.

For those of you who dont know, its the ultimate chimera from Mother 3, and despite the fact that the picture got taken mirrored (stupid webcam), you should still be able to see that he is saying "ROAR!"

Anyway that is all.

CORRECTION: Reid Has informed me that Meeellla has drawn most of the pictures. In that case, Thank you for the wonderful picture which I now keep up on my wall.....

Mother 3.5: The Tale of Claus

Not quite sure about that title, but the idea is to make an RPG in the style of Mother 3 where you take over the role of Claus as he spirals downward to show you the process where he became the Masked Boy.

Sprites are in the process of being created, locations will be created after sprites, all I need is help with the scripting stuff because Im no good with that stuff.

Basically if anyone wants to help me with scripting, then feel free to contact me and we will talk.
I really would appreciate any help with this that I can get.

New Game Brainstorming

Hey everyone, I was thinking about making a game. A platformer to be exact, based on EarthBound and the world of EarthBound. I was surprised to see that no one has done this, so I began brainstorming something like a Super Mario Bros. 2 idea with EarthBound Characters, Enemies, Cities, etc.

I personally think that it would be great. I mean can you imagine running through Threed as Ness killing zombies with a yo-yo? Or freezing those Starmen in Stonehenge with PSI Freeze as Paula?
Jeff would be armed with a gun to shoot enemies, and Poo, I guess I would need to work in a hand combat to be used with him.

Just a thought, but if anyone knows some kind of software which would be able to do something like this, let me know. I already have a trial of Game Maker 7, but I need to figure it out. So i guess if anyone has some hints for that too, it would be a great help.

Here I will show EVERY 1/128 proof. I got them all, and because of it cruised through the game, with nothing but bashing, which helped my No PSI challenge.
